Prevent T2 Now is a public health initiative designed to provide early detection of type 2 diabetes and preventive education in underserved working communities. Through free or low-cost testing, educational workshops, and services tailored for businesses, this program aims to reduce undiagnosed cases and improve the quality of life for thousands of people.

About the Founder

This project is led by Ana Lilia Ponce Briseño, a Pharmaceutical Chemist and Biologist with over 25 years of experience in preventive health, clinical analysis, and coordination of corporate medical services. Ana Lilia has founded and managed laboratories in Mérida, Tabasco, and at private universities, serving thousands of individuals and companies throughout her career.

Professional Experience

Ana Lilia is the founder of Laboratorio Analissa, a clinical laboratory established in Mérida in 2016, serving more than 2,500 people per year. She has also worked as a university lecturer and as a medical representative for international pharmaceutical companies. Her experience combines scientific knowledge, community engagement, and business management skills.

Program Mission

The mission of Prevent T2 Now is to empower individuals with information, access to preventive medical testing, and practical tools to prevent type 2 diabetes. The program will begin in Texas and gradually expand nationwide, partnering with local governments, businesses, and community organizations.
